The Subways manage to make a tremendous racket out of two boys, one girl, an electric guitar, a bass guitar and one drumkit. They've also got the 'whirling dervish' routine during guitar solos down to a fine art. You should check out their fab new single Rock & Roll Queen which is released next Monday. www.thesubways.net
Note: We were pleased to see the door staff at the Engine Rooms confuse a line in green felt-tip pen (gained on admission at the Concorde) with their own yellow flourescent hand stamp, so we somehow managed to blag our way into the club for free afterwards, heh heh...
