Friday 28/02/03 by Dominic Plucknett

Notice how my tastefully coloured shirt was to influence the Box Office uniform later in the year...

Thursday 27/02/03 by Phil Newton

Another picture set up by me. Either it's getting busy in the office or everyone else has already got bored with this project and are avoiding me.

Wednesday 26/02/03 by Phil Newton

I decide to take my own picture by putting the camera on top of my monitor. It doesn't make it any more exciting though.

Tuesday 25/02/03 by Brenda Liethead

Brenda has just joined our Box Office team for the run up to the Brighton Festival, so she gets to take the standard sat-at-my-desk picture today.

Monday 24/02/03 by Phil Newton

I seem to be having days off early in the week all of a sudden. I'm up at the Royal Sussex County Hospital visiting Dave's Mum, Helen, who is recovering from a broken hip.

Sunday 23/02/03 by Phil Newton

I managed to escape from Asda in time and am caught at Olivier Close on my way home. I'm becoming an expert at finding props to position my camera upon, this time utilising an old road sign on the opposite wall.

Saturday 22/02/03 by Jim Turner

Was Jim trying to take a picture of me, or just the poster advertising our forthcoming Paco Pena flamenco performance?

Friday 21/02/03 by Debbie Page

Jim and I are very excited at the arrival of the new wrist-rests for our keyboards. Cotton looks on disapprovingly. There'll be tears before bedtime.

Thursday 20/02/03 by Leigh Glen

My day off so I've ended up in town doing some shopping. I'm here in the Sandwich Shop on St James's Street run by Leigh and Richard, home of the infamous breakfast baguette. This is just across the street from Gary's HD2 shop, so is a regular haunt for coffee and sandwiches.

Wednesday 19/02/03 by Jim Turner

Jim's birthday today so really he should have been in the picture rather than taking it. Ross Noble was appearing at the Corn Exchange that night - and the night before - and I was down to work late again for the show.

Tuesday 18/02/03 by Karen Hill

We managed to get Karen, one of the Duty Managers, to take this picture. It's still just a boring shot of me at my desk though!

Monday 17/02/03 by Phil Newton

Another busy Monday in the office. First sighting of our Box Office Manager, Cotton, sitting at his desk in the background.

Sunday 16/02/03 by Phil Newton

I'm sure that shirt I bought in Thailand isn't appropriate wear for February in England. The framed Buddhist picture on the wall (a jigsaw in fact) was given to me by Fon on my last night in Chiang Mai, and now resides in the shower room of my current flat.

Saturday 15/02/03 by Bev Parke

Serving at the counter again, except this time Bev keeps her distance so as not to unsettle our punters with my flashing camera. We do get some curious looks from customers as the days go by.

Friday 14/02/03 by Polly Cole

Another completely unflattering picture as I'm caught serving at the counter. Looks like I'm half-asleep here. It was Cotton's 30th birthday today, he must have been off work or we'd have nabbed him.

Thursday 13/02/03 by Phil Newton

Here I am in my front lounge looking somewhat surprised for no apparent reason.

Wednesday 12/02/03 by Jim Turner

And here is our first sight of a pre-beardy Dom as he just manages to get his head into the picture. Dom started in the Box Office a couple of weeks after me in March 2002 so we've gone through it all together since we've been here and have become close friends.

Tuesday 11/02/03 by Dominic Plucknett

Dom tries an arty shot by hiding behind Debbie's desk. I am that murky silhouette in the background. Good work Dom!

Monday 10/02/03 by Jim Turner

So after three weeks of relaxing in the Land of Smiles and one very long arduous journey later, I finally arrive back home at midnight to a chilly Brighton in the middle of February. Well, would you look happy at work the next day?

Sunday 09/02/03 by Sean Goody

I should be back home in Brighton by now, but here I am on Eva flight BR67 somewhere over Belgrade, after Emirates cancelled my scheduled return flight and put me up in a swanky hotel for the night. The drunk Mr Goody suffered the same fate but thankfully managed to take my picture in between consuming many cans of Singha beer.

Saturday 08/02/03 by John McCoy

My last day in Thailand for this trip and John McCoy gets to do the honours at the Irish Rover. Sean and I are with Aussie John again, another one of our gang of expat friends and regular annual visitors to Chiang Mai. "Now come on guys, what you should do is just calm down a little..."

Friday 07/02/03 by Dave Leggatt

Back at Major Cineplex again with Nok who works at the Sax bar and who is a regular cinema companion for me when I'm in town. Dave and I bumped into her, Mon and Paul as we were all coming out from seeing So Close, an enjoyable Asian variant on Charlie's Angels.

Thursday 06/02/03 by John Carollo

Another relaxing afternoon down at the Irish Rover with Sean and "Aussie" John Carollo. Sean is well at home here amongst all the books as he is an aspiring novelist. His second book Air Thermae was published in Autumn 2005.

Wednesday 05/02/03 by Sean Bunzick

OK I'm back with my newly-repaired camera once more. Sean and I are eating at Dara's restaurant who have the dubious reputation for screwing up my order whenever I'm there. However the food is always tasty and the staff are always friendly, so mai pen lai right?

Tuesday 04/02/03 by Tunchanok "Nok" Wimala

Nok and I had just come out from seeing Catch Me If You Can here at the Major Cineplex in the Airport Plaza. I'm posing by the display for the Chinese martial arts epic Hero which I'd seen with Dave and Aom two weeks earlier. It finally opened here in the UK on 6th August 2004!

Monday 03/02/03 by Pattama "Nai" Chalrunchida

Outside Nai's little travel and internet shop. She's still working there so do pop in and visit if you're ever staying in Chiang Mai. If you need to arrange a trek or a Thai cookery course then Nai's your girl!

Sunday 02/02/03 by Dave Leggatt

We're over at the Kad Suan Keow shopping centre here. I don't know why I'm looking so fed up in this picture, but I soon had a smile on my face after we'd seen the amazing Thai movie Ong Bak later that afternoon.

Saturday 01/02/03 by Junsong "Fon" Sitmong

Fon and I were walking around the Chinatown area of Chiang Mai watching the local celebrations when we happened upon this huge indoor market at Worowat. The market is populated by numerous grocery stalls downstairs and hundreds of clothes stalls upstairs.
