Wednesday 30/04/03 by Phil Newton

Nature calls. Look, everyone has to go sooner or later. Unless you're a character in the TV series 24.

Tuesday 29/04/03 by Jim Turner

Cotton has taken delivery of a special orthopoedic chair designed to facilitate a straight sitting posture. I discover that it is also very useful for racing up and down the office on.

Monday 28/04/03 by Jim Turner

After yesterday's near-miss with disaster I make sure that our little dead-batteries fiasco won't be happening again anytime soon.

Sunday 27/04/03 by Unknown Waiter

Disaster strikes as The Dome team convene for a pre-Festival Sunday lunch at The Yew Tree in Arlington. My camera batteries are dead and I have no spares. Just as I'm staring defeat in the face, Polly comes to my rescue and produces her own camera from her handbag. Phew!

Saturday 26/04/03 by Lucy Tharme

Lucy gets her first crack at picture taking today, so here I am lurking around in the back office. Bennett is no doubt at Withdean watching Brighton & Hove Albion, so Bev is on duty at his desk this afternoon.

Friday 25/04/03 by Steve Bennett

Bennett and I are on a scouting mission to find some Brighton Festival brochures when we find ourselves in the Corn Exchange foyer. It's an ideal opportunity to pose in the Box Office and say "Hi" to the girls in the Bars Office whilst we're at it.

Thursday 24/04/03 by Polly Cole

Today I complete my treble as here I am with the lovely Lucy, our newest member of staff who has just started in the Box Office this week to help us get through the busy Festival period. I quicky discover that Lucy is a Thailand veteran like myself, so we hit it off right away!

Wednesday 23/04/03 by Polly Cole

OK, I'm on a mission now to capture all the other current Box Office people who've so far eluded my camera. It's a double-whammy of success as I manage to corner Brenda midway through a telephone booking.

Tuesday 22/04/03 by Bev Parke

And here we are, 3 months and 22 days into the project, it's our first sighting of Bennett, our camera-shy Assistant Box Office Manager! I'm lurking in the kitchen, no doubt doing the afternoon tea & coffee run.

Monday 21/04/03 by Phil Newton

Bank Holiday Monday then and I'm all set for kick off. Being a devout Everton fan I'm celebrating my beloved team's good form this season which sees us challenging for a place in Europe. Sadly Chelsea hammer us 4-1 this afternoon.

Sunday 20/04/03 by Troy Helm

Easter Sunday in Shoreham-by-Sea for me. I've just been to catch my first look at Polly's minesweeper-cum-houseboat which has just been towed up from Southampton, and now I'm spending the afternoon with my friends Troy and Rom at their new home watching the San Marino Grand Prix.

Saturday 19/04/03 by Phil Newton

I'm on duty at the Box Office in the Concert Hall foyer this afternoon as I've got a matinee performance of Tap Dogs to take care of.

Friday 18/04/03 by Dominic Plucknett

It's the start of the Easter weekend, but it's no Good Friday for us as we've got shows booked in all weekend. Still, Dom and I are allowed to escape for an hour or so. Here we are in the Pavilion Gardens en route to find some football to watch in one of the pubs down by Brighton Pier.

Back at my regular position today, Karen pops downstairs to do the honours.

Tuesday 15/04/03 by Debbie Page

I was sitting minding my own business when some joker decided to throw a load of Brighton Festival tickets over me. Oh the hilarity of it all!

Monday 14/04/03 by Phil Newton

Relaxing in the library corner of my room with my head deep in The Big Weird by Christopher G. Moore, an expat author living in Thailand who Sean is always recommending to me. Good advice as it turns out.

Sunday 13/04/03 by Phil Newton

I'm intently watching the FA Cup game between Arsenal and Sheffield United. Arsenal won 1-0.

Saturday 12/04/03 by Polly Cole

The fact that Polly is waving a John Shuttleworth flyer in front of the camera gives us a good indication of what show I was going to be working on later that evening.

Friday 11/04/03 by Phil Newton

After Dom's increasingly bizarre ideas I'm forced to regain control of my camera and go back to the safe sitting-at-my-desk pictures.

Thursday 10/04/03 by Dominic Plucknett

Dom's creative mind suggests he stands in the rear stalls of the Concert Hall whilst I stand waving at the foot of the stage. It would have been a great idea except my camera flash won't illuminate that distance, so I'm lost in the murky distance. Spot the Phil anyone?

Wednesday 09/04/03 by Dominic Plucknett

Dom sits on the floor to take this shot, so I decide to sit on the floor too. Not the cleverest idea when I'm trying to take a phone booking.

Tuesday 08/04/03 by Phil Newton

Back on the sofa today to watch a DVD with my friend Justin who must also have had the day off work. We're watching the mediocre 007-rip off xXx starring Vin Diesel and the lovely Asia Argento. I always get caught watching rubbish don't I?

Monday 07/04/03 by Phil Newton

No I don't want my picture taken today thank you very much!

Sunday 06/04/03 by Phil Newton

Another relaxing Sunday at home. Don't you just love the brown decor in the lounge? No, me neither... but Nick has sensibly redecorated since.

Saturday 05/04/03 by Phil Newton

Polly put the kettle on, let's have a cup of tea! (No, Polly hasn't grown a few inches taller and no, she isn't wearing pajamas underneath her skirt either!)

Friday 04/04/03 by Maxine Hort

A very pleasant day outside by the looks of it, so I've joined Debbie outside on her ciggy break. Maxine, one of our House Managers, obliges with the camera this afternoon. Don't we make a lovely couple?

Thursday 03/04/03 by Polly Cole

See, I didn't really do her in. Polly holds no grudges or she would have taken a far worse picture than this one. Thanks Polly!

Wednesday 02/04/03 by Dominic Plucknett

Polly never saw me coming. And they all thought it was Captain Mustard in the kitchen with a candlestick. That'll teach her to do well at Fantasy Football!

Tuesday 01/04/03 by Phil Newton

With the amount of moviegoing I do, it's inevitable I was going to end up actually in a cinema sooner or later at 3pm. Here I am sitting through the Al Pacino / Colin Farrell thriller The Recruit down at the Marina's UCG cinema. Sadly it was completely lacking in any thrills whatsoever.
