Fozzy at the Concorde

Hmmm... Fozzy then, the brainchild of former WWE wrestling superstar Chris Jericho, a metal outfit who started out as a wacky Ozzy Osbourne covers band. Their music, a mixture of sub-Metallica / Guns 'N' Roses slop is really nothing to get excited about. To be fair, the individual musicians are technically brilliant - as demonstrated on numerous solos - but the band badly need some decent tunes. However, what they do have is charisma, and both Jericho and guitarist Duke had the audience totally under their spell. It could have been a disaster - there was only a tiny number of people in the venue - but fair play to them, the ones who had bothered to turn up were certainly up for it, cheering and chanting enthusiastically throughout. Jericho invited a couple of young lads and ladies to join the band onstage for the encore, which then turned into a proper full-on stage invasion during the final song. Absolutely chaotic and hilarious scenes ensued!
