Thursday 07/08/03 by Phil Newton

Jim is our other Box Office rock star. He plays bass with Assam Rifles and is singer, songwriter and guitarist with his own band The Dirty Tricks. They are like a slightly more mature Busted and they ROCK!

I've just flown in from Newcastle and am now back home busy unpacking my stuff.

Monday 04/08/03 by Susan Newton

The hot weather continues in Stocksfield, I enjoy the last day of my break away from the South coast.

Sunday 03/08/03 by Phil Newton

Mum and Dad's close friends Jean and John have come down from Scotland to spend the day with us. Dad and John were colleagues at Newcastle University before both retired.

Saturday 02/08/03 by Phil Newton

Another fine day up North. I'm sat outside reading again - I've finally done with Stephen King and have moved onto the excellent South Of The Border, West Of The Sun by Haruki Marukami, which I finish in one day. Wildlife-cam courtesy of the bird table hiding amongst all the plants.

Friday 01/08/03 by Phil Newton

My parents live in the small Northumbrian village of Stocksfield, near Hexham, and about 30 minutes west of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. We're enjoying a heatwave in the UK at the moment, so Dad is busy working in the garden whilst I survey their new pond.

Thursday 31/07/03 by Phil Newton

Yeah, that really wasn't the best position was it? So I'm upstairs reading Stephen King's From A Buick 8. I'm normally a fast reader if I like a book but sadly this isn't one of his better books. I'm sure I started it back in June... you'll spot it in a couple of earlier photos, I swear.

Wedsnesday 30/07/03 by Susan Newton

Here I am with my Dad in the centre of Hexham, a market town situated midway between Newcastle and Carlisle. This is the town where I was born. Today it is full of cafes and charity shops, but I reckon it is an excellent place to come to find cheap secondhand books.

Tuesday 29/07/03 by Unknown BA Promotions Girl

It's time I journeyed up North to go and spend some time with my parents, as I haven't been up to see them this year. Here I am in the Departures area at Gatwick airport about to catch my flight to Newcastle having persuaded a nice girl working for BA to take my picture.

Friday 25/07/03 by Phil Newton

Polly and I share a relaxing afternoon in the office. It's the last day of Big Brother today, I can spot our final predictions for who will win on the whiteboard beside me. (It was Cameron).

Thursday 24/07/03 by Gary Jackman

You'd have thought I'd have learnt my lesson after my 3 o'clock experience with Justin yesterday, but no. We're hanging out in HD2 today, when Justin suggests that Gary takes my picture from behind. Cheers Gary, cheers Justin.

Wednesday 23/07/03 by Justin Hill

Fluff him? No, I don't think so. Well, I guess it was inevitable that if I decide to call in and see Justin at The Bear Factory in Churchill Square where he works, then I'm going to get collared for an embarrasing photo opportunity... so here I am with Ted the Tailor in the middle of the store.

Wahey, I'm joined by two pretty ladies today - Mel from the Admin Office and Tanya our Brighton Festival Co-ordinator.

Monday 21/07/03 by Polly Cole

The open newspaper on Bennett's desk and those furtive looks can mean only one thing - the player list has been published and it's time to pick our teams for the next season of The Daily Telegraph's Fantasy Football competition! Hurrah!

Sunday 20/07/03 by Phil Newton

Oh dear, I should remember never to have my picture taken whilst wearing shorts. That's not a good look. I believe I've just finished watching the British Grand Prix which was won by Rubens Barrichello.

Saturday 19/07/03 by Bev Parke

Good work from Bev, I think this is probably one of the best shots of me sitting idly at my desk.

Thursday 17/07/03 by Phil Newton

I've borrowed Gary's laptop in a concerted effort to finally log all of my CDs onto a database. It's gonna be a big job!

I could be processing some of the day's postal bookings or perhaps I'm reading the latest draft of Chris's screenplay.

Sunday 13/07/03 by Phil Newton

I'm out visiting Dave today. We're just about to walk down to the UCG cinema at the Marina to watch an arty Asian movie called A Snake Of June.

Saturday 12/07/03 by Phil Newton

Last night was Polly's big family party at Hove Town Hall, and as a result only Debbie, Dom and I are working today. We install a very laid back working regime. (Please note: No cigarettes were smoked and no alcohol was consumed during the making of this picture).

Friday 11/07/03 by Debbie Page

Lucy has now deserted the Box Office to go and work the check-in desk for Air 2000 at Gatwick airport. She calls in today bearing gifts of Minipops ice creams. We all love Lucy, we do!

Thursday 10/07/03 by Phil Newton

Time to cram in a bit of washing in between having my hair cut, going to the cinema and popping over to Newhaven to see Chris. This wasn't the easiest shot to set up as the camera was balancing on some branches down at the bottom of the garden.

Wednesday 09/07/03 by Dominic Plucknett

Dom is the multi-talented singer, songwriter, guitarist and melodica player of local band Good Morning Captain. They are legends of the slow-fi scene in Brighton. This gig with County Of Analogue at The Prince Albert was really rather good, I even bought Dom's demo CD.

Tuesday 08/07/03 by Debbie Page

Debbie goes for the illustrated hat gag, I'm sure you'll agree it's a winner! We're into week 7 of Big Brother and Lisa is a dead cert to go out. Looking at our betting board it seems like we've had to liven things up with a secondary bet on something else... the shame of it all.

Monday 07/07/03 by Phil Newton

We're all busy taking calls so I've got the camera propped up on my keyboard for this shot.

Sunday 06/07/03 by Phil Newton

Another lazy Sunday afternoon. I'm slowly recovering from the fantastic party at Debbie's house the previous night. I'm afraid I was rather drunk.

Thursday 03/07/03 by Anna Weatherston

I'm able to get one of our customers to take my picture today when Anna calls in to book some tickets. Anna works as a runner during the Paramount Brighton Comedy Festival, so was a familiar face around the venue last October.

Wednesday 02/07/03 by Andrew Southon

Chris and I are round at Andrew's flat this afternoon trying to persuade him to join our film crew. With his background in photography, Chris wants Andrew to be our principal cameraman and lighting advisor.

I'm in Newhaven visiting my friend Chris. Not only is he responsible for helping design this website, he is also a budding film maker. Today we're discussing casting for a short film he's written. Chris intends to direct and has enlisted my help to produce the film.

Saturday 21/06/03 by Dominic Plucknett

Well it's no wonder we were five minutes late with the photo after that night. The walking wounded drag themselves into work to shake off their hangovers. Lucy and I lean on each other for support to get us through the working day. Good effort Lucy!

Friday 20/06/03 by Lucy Tharme

And here is Lucy's aforementioned proper massive afro wig! Now has Dom been influenced by Elvis's pose on the wall behind, or is he just psyching himself up for a spot of hedge-diving later on?
